May The 4th Be With You – Celebrate the Stars Wars Day at the National Wax Museum Plus

Looking for an adventurous indoor activity on a rainy day in Dublin? On the 4th of May, the Wax Museum is going to celebrate the 12th Star Wars Day, which is the informal holiday of the fans of the Star Wars movies by George Lucas.

It is a perfect occasion to get to see the many Star Wars wax figures as a family or a solo traveler and be part of this international community. The museum holds a variety of figures including The Star Wars characters Qui-Gon Jinn, Rey, Darth Vader, Yoda and others.

The first Star Wars Day

In 2011, the first Star Wars Day was celebrated. It took pace in Toronto, Ontario/Canada on May 4th. It included film screenings, costume contests, parodies, and more.
The official marketing logo is a pun which originated from the famous phrase “May the force be with you“.

Liam Neeson, born William John Neeson on June 7 1952, is a Northern Irish actor. He played the role of Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn  in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace.

He has since voiced the character in various Star Wars projects, including Star Wars: Episode 2 Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and multiple more.

He returned to physically portray the character in a scene in the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
