Celebrate Day of the Dead with 20% off in The National Wax Museum Plus

Day of the Dead Discount

Halloween may be over but the Midterm break sure isn’t. We’re all for celebrating spooky events and next up is Day of the Dead or All Souls day November 2nd. The Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday also known as Dia de Muertos, where families come together to remember family and friends who have passed away. Traditionally in Mexico Day of the Dead is a two day festival that starts at 12 midnight October 31st and continues until November 2nd to coincide with the western tradition of “All Souls Day”. To commemorate the Day of Dead, in mexican tradition, people paint sugar skulls on the graves of the deceased. In recent times, the sugar skulls have been popular as facepaint for trick or treaters and make up artists alike.

We want to celebrate Day of the Dead in the Museum in the best way possible so we’re releasing Print Your Own day of the Dead Masks for both adults and kids!

We’re now offering a 20% discount to anyone who wears the mask into the Museum over the entire bank holiday! We love seeing these photos so we’re also asking you to colour in your masks and share them with us on social media using #WaxMuseumPlus.
